Conference gets rave reviews

Great learning experience
I just wanted to write you and let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed this rail conference. I am new to the rail industry, but I learned a lot about rail transportation that I never knew. It was a great resource for people like myself just starting out.

Not to mention I thought the facilities and conference went off without a hitch. Coeur d'Alene is a beautiful area and wonderful spot to hold a conference. You did a great job as host and should be commended on your hard work.

Thanks again for making it an enjoyable time.

Inspired by effort
I would just like to thank you again for your work in pulling off the SCORT meeting. After hearing your inspirational story of one man against the odds, I might someday try hosting one of these events.

Of course, in Delaware, you'd all get a free frozen chicken or maybe a bunch of chicken nuggets or maybe a major credit card (application is free, at least).

I really liked Idaho and would have liked to spend a few more days there. Oh well ...back to the grindstone.
Ciao for now!

Productive meeting
I just wanted to let you know what a great job, Ron Kerr, Pat Marler, and the rest of the ITD staff did on hosting AASHTO's 2005 National Meeting of the Standing Committee on Rail Transportation (SCORT) in Coeur d'Alene.

The meeting was very productive and well attended by both state and industry professionals. I received many complements regarding the professionalism and good work of the ITD staff.

Tough act to follow
I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate you on a great conference! You and your staff did a great job, and we have a hard act to follow. I appreciate all your help in getting the word out about our event. Thanks again for allowing me to use one of your rooms at the Roosevelt Inn. That worked out just great, and the folks there were so nice...

Again, good job. It was a great event. Everybody I spoke to was having a good time and learning a lot.

Arrangements couldn't have been better
Just wanted to express my thanks, and Carol’s also, to you and your team from ITD for a great meeting. The arrangements couldn’t have been better. And you certainly picked a beautiful spot. Thanks again, and hope we will see you in San Antonio.

Missing the view, attention
Please tell your group that I really had a great time and it was a great meeting. My wife did too. Unfortunately she is still looking for the water view and someone to turn back her bed.

Thank you.
