POE response commended

At approximately 8 a.m. on Oct. 17, I responded to the Huetter Port of Entry at the request of Inspector Dale Childers. He had contacted a commercial vehicle driver who had a noticeable odor of alcohol upon his breath.

Inspector Childers immediately contacted ISP and requested our response. I arrived at the POE at approximately 8:15 a.m. and subsequently arrested the driver for operating a commercial vehicle with a BrAC above 0.04 (his BrAC was .049).

I commend Inspector Childers for his commitment and excellent observation skills.

Great tool; more frequent updates needed

What a great tool for those of us to travel up and down the state. The only problem is that it is not current, but is 2, 3 even more days old for current conditions like weather and pavement. I would also suggest a camera in the Fort Hall/Blackfoot area.
