Smile, friendliness draws praise

I want to express our appreciation for the way Mary Lynn Miller does her work at the Marsing Port of Entry. We appreciate her smile and friendliness as she does her job. Mary will help find the papers in our truck file, give us information and often remembers our names.

She is not afraid to wave at us and give us a smile as we go through.

I have five belly-dumps and five “refer” vans and have seen a lot across the western states. In California, we were about given a ticket for being 1 1⁄2-inch over bridge length and got a ticket in Washington for being one inch over eight feet wide on a cargo item.

Many small companies have given up with narrow profit margins and so many ways to get hurt. It is nice to have a friendly person at a Port of Entry.

I recently met Dan Poff and think he may be a nice fellow also.
