First electronic timesheets entered successfully

ITD's conversion to a new financial, procurement and payroll system passed a major test with flying colors when a segment of employees successfully processed their timesheets electronically for the pay period ending Jan. 28.

"We wanted to let you know that we successfully sent the payroll file to the State Controller’s Office and it was accepted," reports Lysa Beltz, ITD Advantage Project Manager.

Employees who entered their timesheet electronically also completed paper versions to ensure no data was lost in the transition period. With that initial success, they will no longer be required to fill out paper timesheets.

Financial conversions are under way and slightly ahead of schedule, Beltz said. Finance will go live on Monday Feb 13.
