The southwest chapter of the Idaho Society of Professional Engineers will play host to an Engineer’s Week Luncheon Tuesday, Feb. 21, in conjunction with National Engineers Week. The luncheon will be at the Doubletree Riverside Inn, 2900 Chinden Blvd., Boise, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Newly licensed professional engineers will be honored at the luncheon. All local engineers are invited to attend and honor those who were licensed recently. The luncheon speaker will be Boise State University President, Dr. Robert W. Kustra. He has been a popular speaker at a number of engineering society meetings over the past few years, offering insight to the needs of future engineering education. The prepaid cost for the luncheon is $25 per person ($15 for students). A reservation form is available on the ISPE Web site at www.idahospe.org/ .
