Order extends Motor Carrier Advisory committee

An executive order recently signed by Gov. Dirk Kempthorne extends the authority of the Motor Carrier Advisory Committee another year. The advisory group provides valuable insight and makes recommendations to ITD about laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures related to the operation of commercial vehicles in Idaho.

The advisory board includes representation from ITD, the Idaho State Police and the Idaho Tax Commission. Membership also includes representatives of the Idaho Trucking Association from each of the state’s six geographic regions.
