A new audio-visual presentation that explains Idaho’s commercial driver’s license (CDL) hazardous materials endorsement requirements is available on line through the Idaho Transportation Department Web site. The 15-minute presentation addresses the PATRIOT Act of 2001 and details Idaho’s driver’s license, written testing and security threat assessment processes. It also provides information on CDL transfers and Idaho renewals. The presentation may be viewed, with accompanying audio, at dmv.idaho.gov. Questions, comments and/or input about the content of the presentation can be directed to Micki Courtney, CDL Program Specialist, Micki.courtney@itd.idaho.gov .
