Seventy-four employees reach career milestones

The Idaho Transportation Board will focus its attention on 74 individuals who have reached new milestones in their careers at the transportation department Thursday during the second of a two-day board meeting in Boise.

Among the honored employees are two individuals – Sherwin Beaman and Milford Miller – who have logged more than 40 years with the department. The former works in the Bridge Section while Miller is in Roadway Design. Three others will mark 35 years or more with ITD: Michael Ebright, Mary Mangum and David Turner.

In addition to distributing employee service awards, the board will acknowledge two special individuals for their distinguished service, presenting Maintenance and Safety persons of the year honors. Board chairman Chuck Winder will be the guest speaker at the assembly.

Friends, family and co-workers are invited to the ceremony, scheduled for 10 a.m. in the Headquarters Auditorium. Refreshments will be served in the Lobby after the awards presentation.
