Truck, equipment operators to put
skills on the line at State Roadeo

Heavy equipment and dump truck jockeys from throughout Idaho will assemble Tuesday (June 13) at Dworshak Dam near Orofino for the annual ITD Truck Roadeo. The event tests skills of drivers in maneuvering equipment through an obstacle course and diagnosing “planted” equipment problems.

The competition will be at the Dworshak Dam parking lot next to the boat launches.

The top two finishers at the state finals will advance to the Western Snow and Ice Conference scheduled for Sept. 25-29 in Estes Park, Colo. Watch next week’s Transporter for the list of winners.
