Administrative assistants from throughout Idaho will assemble at the Nazareth Retreat Center, 4450 N. Five Mile Road, in Boise Sept. 14 for the 18th annual Administrative Support Workshop. The all-day professional development workshop provides an opportunity for ITD’s administrative assistants to learn how to do their jobs better, improve relationships with others in similar positions and exchange techniques for success. On-site registration takes place from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the conference center. Transportation Board Chairman Frank Bruneel will join workshop chair Judy Rogers (Division of Planning and Programming) in welcoming more than 100 administrative assistants expected for the event. The workshop wrap-up and evaluation are planned for about 4 p.m. A number of door prizes will be awarded at the workshop. Organizers still need door prize contributions from ITD staff, said Shauna Riggas who has been coordinating the prizes and helping assemble contents of a workshop welcome bag.
