Thanks for kind words, open house

As chairman of the Transportation Board from 1995 until June 2006 I have gotten to know many employees at ITD. I have seen your dedication to the department. I have witnessed your professionalism. I have experienced your friendship.

The open house the department hosted for me last Friday was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed visiting with many of you and also appreciated the many kind words you wrote in the cards.

It was a real pleasure serving as chairman. Thanks again to each one of you for making my time as chairman memorable and enjoyable.
