Holiday bazaar to help generate funds,
food for Idaho Food Bank

A holiday craft fair, organized by Headquarters’ employee organization DoRolCo, is planned Friday (Oct. 20) in the Lobby as a way for ITD employees to showcase their talents and as a benefit for the Idaho Food Bank.

The 2006 Holiday Hobby and Craft Bazaar will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and feature handcrafted or homemade items of ITD employees. The cost for vendors is $10 per table; 10 percent of the sales will be donated to the Idaho Food Bank to provide for winter and holiday meals.

ITD employees also are invited to donate non-perishable food items and personal care items to the Food Bank. Contributions can be placed in one of several barrels at Headquarters. A list of items suggested by the Food Bank appears below.

Spare coin jars are located throughout the building and at the Security Desk in the Lobby to collect financial donations to the Food Bank. Please be generous, since your financial gifts are multiplied through increased purchasing power to help those in need.

Employees also are reminded of the month-long State Charitable Giving Campaign that benefits non-profit organizations throughout the state.
