District 6's Koon honored for legislator's report

Cathy Koon, District 6 public information specialist, recently attended the national Federation of Press Women conference where she accepted a third place award.
Her report to district legislators in December 2005 was recognized in the Annual Report category.

Koon also gave a presentation at the conference on behalf of Media Network Idaho, formerly the Idaho Press Women organization. Koon was lobbying to have Idaho host the 2008 conference.

The recipient of numerous Idaho Press Club and Idaho Press Women awards, Koon will bid farewell to the department today. She recently accepted a position as Director of Economic Development for Fremont County and will begin her new job Monday. She lives in St. Anthony.
