Hansen named new ITD maintenance foreman for Preston area
Ed Hansen, a 20-year Idaho Transportation Department employee, was recently promoted to maintenance foreman for the Preston area, according to Steve Gertonson, ITD District 5 maintenance engineer.

Hansen has worked for ITD’s Preston maintenance section since 1986.

“Ed is very familiar with the existing maintenance requirements of the Preston area and responsive to changing needs” Gertonson said. “He is familiar with and respected by local elected officials and government agencies.”

Before joining ITD, Hansen worked with local construction companies LeGrand Johnson and JB Parsons for a total of eight years.

He and his wife Ann have four children: Brandi, Ryan, Kelli and Katie.
