Appointments available for mammography
clinics at Headquarters

On-site mammography clinics have been scheduled for employees at Headquarters in Boise. Several appointments still are available for the Wednesday (Jan. 24) clinic and several openings remain for the Feb. 15 and March 28 clinics. Please call St. Luke's Regional Medical Center at 381-2055 to schedule an appointment. See the linked flyer for details.

This is the time of year when many people are taking a closer look at their eating habits. As an educational resource, the ITD Wellness Program has a collection of nutrition books available for check out: "Intuitive Eating," "Eating on the Run" and "Healthy Homestyle Cooking."

Anyone interested in checking out any of the books should send an e-mail to Pauline Davis to make arrangements, or if necessary to be placed on a waiting list.

This also is the time when many employees are deciding whether to join a health club. To review some of the suggestions, see the linked flyer.

Remember there are weight scales, body fat weight scales, blood pressure monitors and shower facilities available at the Headquarters campus. Check out the Wellness Program web site and look under "Resources" for HQ's equipment locations:

Employees who have suggestions for improving to the department's Wellness Program, can forward ideas via e-mail to Davis any of the wellness volunteers.
