Publications available on ITD Web

Two recent ITD publications have been added to the department’s Web site in portable document form (PDF) and are available for downloading or printing.

ITD’s 36-page Annual Report summarizes the department’s achievements in 2006, provides an overview of its FY 08 budget request and explains factors that led the transportation board to forward a revenue plan to the Legislature.

A technical report reviews the first three years of a 10-year pilot project that studies the impact of heavier truck loads on select highways in Idaho. Highway segments included in the pilot project allow loads that exceed the state limit of 105,500 pounds, up to a maximum of 129,000 pounds. The study, launched in 2003, is scheduled to continue through 2013.
