Leonard Hill invaluable to AASHTO subcommittee

Loren Thomas,
Idaho Transportation Department

Please allow me to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the Idaho Transportation Department’s continued support of the AASHTO Subcommittee on Right of Way and Utilities. I would like to offer my personal thanks for the additional level of commitment invested through your support of Leonard Hill’s continuing service to the subcommittee executive board as the immediate past chairman.

Our Orlando planning session conducted January 8-11 was incredibly productive and I am looking forward to another very successful meeting of the full subcommittee. In addition to conducting routine subcommittee business, the January meeting of the executive board is used to develop the theme and agenda for our annual spring meeting of the full membership.

I have included the following link to our AASHTO Subcommittee on Right of Way and Utilities Web site http://rightofway/transportation.org and encourage you to visit it to view the agenda for the upcoming meeting in Orlando from April 29-May 3. This year’s theme is “Meeting Project Delivery Challenges Through Innovation.”

You will note a prominent role for Leonard leading the discussion of the “Relocation Technical Council.” I am very proud to serve as our subcommittee chairman and honored by the quality of the company that my participation allows me to keep with people like Leonard who are the nationwide leaders of our profession.

John P. Campbell, P.E.
Chairman, AASHTO Subcommittee on Right of Way and Utilities
Director, Right of Way Division
Texas Department of Transportation
