District 1 honors employees

Nearly 100 District 1 employees attended this year’s barbecue luncheon and service awards ceremony as part of the statewide Employee Appreciation Month in May.

Andrea Storjohann, Scotty Fellom, Jim Roletto and Jason Minzghor took their turns at the grill to prepare juicy hamburgers and delicious hot dogs as a gift to employees in the district. The tables were laden with homemade baked beans, salads and other goodies that employees brought to share.

The district’s annual Health Fair coincided with the luncheon. People were able to get their eyes and ears tested, blood pressure checked and learn of their cholesterol levels in the Lion’s Club health screening bus.

Representatives from Idahy Federal Credit Union, AFLAC, Costco, Appleway Chiropractic and 11 other vendors shared information with district employees and donated some wonderful door prizes and giveaways.
