acres at 70 percent contained. The fire is 18 miles southeast of
Boise. Winds created extreme fire behavior. Reduction in acreage

160,000 acres at 10 percent contained. This fire is 23 miles northwest
of Jackpot. Extreme fire behavior was reported. Power lines and

Hot Springs and burning in grass and brush. Extreme fire behavior

Horn (Salmon-Challis National Forest): 300 acres at 15
percent contained. This fire is 15 miles north of Challis. Structures

Tongue
Complex (Boise District, Bureau of Land Management): 48,658
acres at 45 percent contained. This complex is 45 miles south of
Silver City. It is comprised of previously reported fires including
Crutcher, Red Canyon and Bald Mountain. Structures remain threatened.
