Session to provide information on retirement options

A representative of Nationwide Investment Services, will explain retirement options during two sessions Wednesday at Headquarters in Boise.

John Carver specializes in the State of Idaho Deferred Compensation Plan. Carver will help employees determine how far their pension and Social Security will stretch and options for making up the difference.

“Your deferred compensation plan is a great way to close the gap between what you’ll have and what you’ll need for retirement. Where do you want to be,” the company asks rhetorically. “Broke? Still working? Or financially independent?”

Deferred compensation is an ideal way to help state employees attain their retirement goals.

“Come learn more about your deferred compensation plan. I’ll answer questions, review your account or help you join.”

The first session will be from 9 a.m. to noon; the afternoon session is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the DMV conference room. Employees with specific questions can call 342-8657, ext. 2, to make a personal appointment.
