Charitable Giving campaign concludes Nov. 16

This year's Idaho State Employees Charitable Giving Campaign is almost at a close. Next Friday, Nov. 16, is the final day.

I hope all the districts are having as successful fund-raisers as we have had between HQ and District 3. We had an awesome theme basket raffle that raised more than $2,600. And we aren't through! Next Friday is our bake sale that is bound to do well!

I encourage all the districts to incorporate these types of fun activities into their campaigns. Not only is the money given to many worthy causes but the events are a lot of fun.

If you haven't already gone out to the United We Care Web site to make your pledge, please take a few minutes today to do so and get them turned in.

Pledging information:
  • Print a pledge form, fill it out, and sign it. Save a copy for your records.
  • Send the pledge form to your administrative assistant or personnel technician
  • To find a specific charity: Go to the Web site and click on "I want to donate to the
    campaign" then on "Charities by Region"
Watch for these Fund-Raising Events in the Boise & D-3 Office:
  • Through Nov. 16 spare change jars in all departments that want to participate
  • Bring in that spare change! Even pennies can go a long way when there are many of them.
  • Nov 16 bake sale at Headquarters – Get cookin' and have those bake goods and candies ready to go. You don't cook? Come buy.
