That’s good government

I am in receipt of a letter from Daryl Marler to Doug Henson, dated October 23, 2007, which responded to a constituent’s concern/problem that I raised with Ed Bala and Alan Frew on behalf of Doug Henson of Stan’s Pro Tows in Pocatello.

I just wanted to pass on my appreciation for the responsiveness of your department in assisting me and helping a constituent. Immediately after raising the issue with Ed Bala and Alan Frew, Mr. Frew set up a meeting and had all of the necessary people in attendance.

My constituent was able to explain his concerns, and possible solutions were discussed and confirmed in short order. This is good government, and I appreciate your efforts, not only on behalf of my constituent, but also on my behalf. I look forward to continuing to work with you.

Scenic byways Web site incredible

My wife and I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you and congratulations on having one of the most fantastic Web sites we've ever seen.

The Idaho's Scenic Byways Web site http://www.idahobyways.gov is simply awesome. Thank you and your team so much for all your hard work. It is absolutely amazing. We are speechless at how comprehensive and informative your information is. Its a most appreciated resource; we can't thank you enough!

We are from England and we are planning a month long family vacation this December and your Web site has made our planning task a million times easier.

We will surely tell all our friends just how well Idaho really has got its act together online. We can't wait to see it in real life!
