Reminder: NCPERS Open enrollment
ends on Nobember 30th

It is once again time for our annual NCPERS open enrollment where all benefited ITD employees have the opportunity to purchase optional term life insurance at group rates. The Voluntary Group Life Plan is underwritten by the Prudential Insurance Company of America and is administered by American Administrative Group, Inc.

This life insurance plan is designed to supplement other life insurance you may already have through our benefit program or any insurance you may have already purchased on your own. It gives you the opportunity to purchase term life insurance with no medical evidence requirements.

The monthly cost remains the same regardless of your age ($16.00 a month).

Please review the attached document if you are interested. The last page is the enrollment form. Please complete and return to your District Business office if you are a district employee or Human Resources if you work in headquarters. You may enroll in this Voluntary Group Life Plan between September 1 and November 30, 2007.

Remember, if you choose to decline enrollment you will not be able to enroll until the next open enrollment period next fall. You do not have to reenroll if you are currently on the plan.

Note: This is the life insurance plan that you can continue after you retire from state service.
Also please note: For those of you who are currently enrolled in older plans that cost $6, $9 and $12 a month, this is not an opportunity to switch to another plan.

For specific questions on coverage, you can call the plan administrator American Administrative Group, Inc. at 1-800-525-8056.
