Thanks for a tremendous year and
best wishes for the holidays

During the past year I have traveled the state extensively, introducing some of the department’s new leadership team, meeting with legislators and community leaders, seeing firsthand the accomplishments of each district and getting to know many of you better.

In the process I have developed an even greater appreciation for what you do with limited resources. I am impressed by such a dedicated group of people – dedication to your profession, to each other and to your state. You are the heart and soul of Idaho’s transportation system.

On behalf of the ITD executive team and the transportation board I want to thank you for making 2007 a tremendous year. We have dealt with many complex challenges. We will continue to do so in 2008. I am convinced we will turn those challenges into rewards as we move forward together.

I hope your holidays are filled with peace, joy and fond memories.
