In a rut? Try some unique ideas to climb out...

1. Make friends with different people.
2. Visit unusual places.
3. Cultivate an unusual hobby.
4. Take an unusual class.
5. Wear something unusual.
6. Buy a magazine you’ve never bought before.
7. Try a food you’ve never tried before.
8. Go to bed an hour earlier and wake up an hour earlier.
9. Take a new route home.
10. Take a walk instead of watching TV.
11. Give a “difficult person” in your life a sincere compliment.
12. Look through a mail-order catalogue and send yourself a present.
13. Leave for work 10 minutes early and let people cut in front of you in traffic
14. Drop a social activity you don’t particularly like anymore.
15. Get a double-dip ice cream.
16. Change toothpaste.
17. Browse in a bookstore.
18. Go to a junk shop.
19. Buy a new wallet.
20. Don’t follow the news for seven days
21. Try a new kind of cereal.
22. Drop a “lucky” dollar bill on the street and make someone’s day.
