Support for new public transportation paradigm

Randy Kyrias, Administrator
ITD Division of Public Transportation

The Community Transportation Association of Idaho (CTAI) thanks you and the ITD Division of Public Transportation for your partnership in developing outstanding public transportation for the citizens of Idaho.

The CTAI board would also like to commend your work in developing the 2008 Idaho Mobility and Access Pathway (IMAP) document. This letter is our formal acknowledgment of support for IMAP.

In particular, the CTAI board strongly supports the “mobility management” approach to transportation and mobility in Idaho. Public transportation providers (government, non-profit and for-profit) must be involved at every level – local, district and statewide – for this plan to be a success. The CTAI board recognizes your commitment to this “bottom-up” approach and supports your vision to improve public transportation and mobility for Idaho citizens.

We look forward to working with you to make this new paradigm a reality. Please feel free to contact us for assistance at any time.

Charles Trainor, CTAI secretary/treasurer
