The bottom line

Weight a minute… help is on the way
ITD employees looking for help with weight management are encouraged to consider joining Weight Watchers. Volunteers plan to form a new group at ITD Headquarters, meeting monthly during the lunch hour.
 
Interested individuals should contact Holly McClure at ext. 8484 or e-mail her at holly.mcclure@itd.idaho.gov.
 
Participants could qualify for up to $200 in incentive dollars through the Office of Group Insurance, in cooperation with Blue Cross of Idaho. They offer a weight management incentive program for state employees. Dates announced for flu shots in Boise
Flu shots will be available for employees at Headquarters on Oct. 29. The date scheduled for the District 3 office will be Nov. 13. Employees unable to attend the date specified can opt for the other as an alternate.
 
More information will be available later.
 
Mammography services offered Nov. 7, Dec. 9

On-site mammography services for cancer detection are planned for Nov. 7 and Dec. 9 at Headquarters.
 
Employees can get their annual check-up by taking advantage of the quick and convenient digital mammography service.
 
Appointments are available on both days; family members also are welcome. To make an appointment, contact St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center at 706-2055. St. Luke’s also will process insurance billing; no payment is collected at the time of service.
 
The mobile screening truck will arrive at Headquarters at 8 a.m. and begin screenings at 9 a.m. A break is planned for lunch at 11:30 a.m.; screenings will continue from 1:15 p.m. to 3 p.m. Three people can be screened per hour, for a total of 15 each day.
