Project Develop Conference to be offered April 7, 8
Focus is on practical solutions for transportation needs

ITD announced last week the 2009 Project Development Conference (itd.idaho.gov/pdc09) will be April 7, 8 at the Boise Centre on the Grove. It will focus on practical solutions for growing transportation needs.

The conference is a two-day symposium covering a variety of topics appropriate for individuals responsible for planning, designing, constructing and maintaining Idaho’s roadway systems.

Sessions include formal presentations, audience discussion and numerous opportunities for learning and interaction. Nationally qualified experts will present innovative solutions in the areas of environmental, materials, planning, traffic and design.

The Excellence in Transportation Awards banquet and a variety of vendor exhibits that showcase materials and traffic equipment and services also will be open to the attendees. ITD employees are encouraged to submit entries for The Excellence in Transportation Awards in one of the five categories:

Construction
Environmental stewardship
Maintenance and operations
Public participation and
Transportation planning

More information about how to register as an attendee, exhibitor, and/or sponsor is available on the conference Web site. New next year will be the ability to register online using credit cards in addition to mailing in your registration fees.
