Perks Card discounts, coupons can help
employees fill Christmas shopping lists

ITD employees who want the best value for their dollar when filling holiday shopping lists might consider starting with their Perks Card.

The cards open the door to discount products and services ranging from automotive to travel. The free discount cards were provided to benefited ITD employees last May and qualify holders to discounts on a variety of goods and services through the independent Perks Web site (http://www.perkscard.com ).

The cards were introduced by ITD as part of Employee Appreciation Week, acknowledging employee service.

If you qualify for a Perks card and don’t have one, contact your District Business Manager or Human Resources at Headquarters.

Once cards are activated, holders can explore a variety of options from local and national businesses. Discounts are available on entertainment, dining and food, recreation, sports, travel, banking, clothing and accessories, computers and electronics, among many other categories.

Some discounts are available for in-store purchases, others are available online. Discount coupons also are available for printing from the Perks Web site.

Visitors to the Web site will be asked for a user name or card number and password to explore the savings options.
