Public transportation group to complete grants review

The Public Transportation Advisory Council (PTAC) will complete its review of public transportation grant applications for 2010 on Thursday, April 30.

The meeting will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at ITD’s East Annex Conference Room, 3293 Jordan St. in Boise.

The council will evaluate funding applications that have been submitted to provide or deliver public transportation services to meet statewide needs and strategies. The group also will review district funding allocation recommendations and finalize all funding allocation recommendations.

The meeting is open to the public.

PTAC’s mission is to foster public transportation for all Idahoans across the statewide transportation system by working to increase local and intercity services.
