Quick action helped to avert tragedy

Allen Knight and Ron Robinson,
I sincerely thank you for your outstanding service to us in a very critical time of need. Thank you for coming to our aid and when you radioed for help: it was a great relief to us! You very competently handled our emergency and I can’t thank you enough! I am very certain that our whole ordeal would have been so much more complicated and traumatic for us and our other passengers if you had not come to our aid.

I can’t say enough about how I feel concerning your timely assistance to us. I, and those who were with me, extend our heartfelt thanks to you and the Idaho Transportation Department for your assistance when we needed it most!

Note: Allen and Ron administered CPR to a man with the group traveling north of Galena Summit on Idaho 75 while off duty. Allen is the foreman at the Rupert maintenance station, Ron is the D-4 maintenance coordinator.
