Thanks for forum on Meridian’s transportation needs

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to present to the Idaho Transportation Board last week about the importance of a rebuilt Meridian Interchange to the Treasure Valley. While I understand there are many projects to consider, I was encouraged by the comments of the board and believe they recognize the importance of this project.

I look forward to working with you and the board on this project in the future.

I also wanted to thank you and ITD for putting together a great event this week for the Ten Mile Interchange groundbreaking. It is clear that there is great enthusiasm for this project as it will allow our community the potential to develop our plan.

The work of ITD staff and the "community feel" of everyone bringing their own shovel was a great touch and should be commended. Please pass along my sincere gratitude to all those involved.
