Public asked for input on regional mobility needs

Community leaders and citizens can influence public transportation options in northern Idaho by participating in one of three meetings planned to help determine local community mobility needs.
 
Citizens of Benewah, Kootenai, Shoshone, Latah, Clearwater, Lewis, Idaho and Nez Perce counties will have the opportunity to participate in developing strategies and setting priorities for how best to move people in their unique areas.
 
The meetings are part of a statewide initiative for mobility management that focuses on using all modes of transportation including buses, bicycles and bicycle paths, carpools and vanpools.
 
Meetings are planned for:

Benewah, Kootenai, Shoshone counties
Monday, July 20; 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel - Longhouse, U.S. 95, Worley

Latah County
Wednesday, July 22; 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. -9 p.m.
Best Western University Inn, 1516 Pullman Road, Moscow
 
Clearwater County
Thursday, July 23; 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.
