Visitor praises Johnson Creek airstrip as 'heavenly'

I flew into Johnson Creek with some friends on Thursday (June 18) and camped for three days. We are from central California.

I was very impressed with Gary McElheney and the camp hosts (a husband and wife team). I was blown away by the helpfulness and professionalism exhibited by these people working for your state government.

What a wonderful experience and beautiful state you guys get to live in. Job well done, and I look forward to a return visit when time permits.

Thanks again for an excellent trip into your GREAT backcountry strip.

Johnson Creek is heavenly.
