Backcountry trip produced smooth landing

Gary McElheney,

Well, another Backcountry Safari (our 10th) behind us .. and all are home safe and sound ... many thanks for helping us make it possible!!

Next year we'll try to do it a little earlier .. probably starting on the 15th of Sept.

Again, all thank you and the Idaho Dept. of Transportation for keeping these strips open and in good shape!!

Rich Sugden,

DMV created calm during stormy time

Ed Pemble,

I just wanted to tell you that Brenda (Bengston) was a pleasure to speak with today. She was professional, kind and understanding. She obviously has a very good knowledge of the system, and she gave me a clear explanation of what needs to be done.

I had questions about a notice that my son received from the Idaho Transportation Department. I called the number on the notice and Brenda was the person who answered the phone.

My father (Samuel’s grandfather) is very ill, and we have all been scattered and upset about this. Speaking to Brenda was actually a bright spot in my morning today – in spite of the fact that we were discussing a traffic citation.

Thank you for employing Brenda who is such a considerate person and who gives the best customer service ever. It reflects very well on the city of Boise and the state of Idaho, and it made my day.

Best regards,

Jennifer McAulay,
Manhattan Beach, Calif.
