The Idaho Transportation Board, along with colleagues and friends, will honor employees Wednesday who have reached employment milestones at a 2 p.m. ceremony in the Headquarters auditorium. ITD Chief Engineer Tom Cole will serve as emcee, and board vice chairman Neil Miller (District 5) will provide opening remarks. Sixty Headquarters employees will receive awards for service longevity. Thirteen employees reached their 10-year anniversary during the first half of 2009, while 12 employees marked 20 years and another dozen reached 25 years. Three employees – Doug Benzon, Dennis Glynn and Roxanna Marshall – have recorded 35 years of service, and three others reached 30 years – Peggy Duarte, Nancy Parks and Randy Hirst. The semiannual awards ceremony provides an opportunity to recognize and reward the department's most valuable resource – its employees. ITD is committed to leading through agency performance, and employees make that happen. The transportation board, senior leadership team and fellow employees express their sincere appreciation to all of the recipients for their efforts to enhance the transportation experience in Idaho. Without that continued commitment and loyalty, TD would be able to achieve the success that it has. Our congratulations to the following:
