Thanks for patience with Orofino highway project Darrell Manning, Chairman Dear Chairman Manning and board members, I realize there were obstacles along the way, but it is important for you to know that your District 2 staff associated with the project conducted themselves with a high degree of professionalism throughout the construction process. They continuously kept the city informed as to the progress; allowed the city to participate in weekly construction meetings; and repeatedly answered questions after questions by the city. We appreciate this and want you to know that we have received many compliments on the completed improvements. I would also like to pass on our appreciation for the inclusion of a city water line running through your project. Jim Carpenter, District 2 engineer, was extremely supportive and helpful in expediting our request. Unfortunately, the project needed to be cancelled at the last minute due to unexpected costs, but the manner in which it was handled by your staff was exemplary. We thank you for this and for all the good work ITD does. If I can be of any assistance or answer any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to contact me. Ryan Smathers, Mayor Help appreciated with elderly mother’s license Lori Rowell, Driver Services, Dear Ms. Rowell, We have dealt with many people in helping my elderly mother through her challenges, and you were the nicest, most helpful person we have met. Keep up the good work and thank you so much. Jana Hansen, Utah Published 11-13-09 |
