Goff Bridge 'squatter' builds comfortable home Bridges sometimes become unauthorized shelter for the homeless. But inspectors in District encountered an unexpected squatter while checking the Goff Bridge north of Riggins recently. This little guy made quite a home inside the bridge. Inspectors Rick Smith, Jim Stocker, Jack Irwin and Jim Holland invaded the pack rat's residence and discovered a significant amount of construction activity. The freeloader appeared to be cozy and content. "The next confined space inspection we do probably will require us to wear our respirators," Holland said.
