Excellent example of customer service

I am writing on behalf of my wife Patricia Potter. Patricia's purse was stolen in California by a repairman doing remodel work on our home in California. When I called the Idaho Transportation Department I got Debra in the license area. I wanted to let you know about the customer service I received.

Debra Dopieralski helped me get the paperwork and even gave me her direct phone number to follow up on the application and FedEx. Debra was nice and very professional; her help surpassed my expectations. Her exemplary performance deserves to be recognized. She is an asset to the state just for her perfect customer service. I asked Debra how to spell her last name and she gladly did and then asked why?

I told her I wanted to write a letter to Gov. Otter and let him know about her. I wrote a letter to Gov. Otter to let him know what an exceptional job his employee did. Debra represents the great state of Idaho well and the Idaho Transportation Department should be proud to have her as well.

Thank you Debra for your wonderful attitude and dedication to good state service. Thank you for going above and beyond your call of duty to help my wife.

Driver’s license process was a pleasure

I was at your Benjamin office on Friday (Feb. 5) at 8:45 a.m. I had moved from Pocatello two years ago and wanted to update my license. I took a ticket and was called at once. Beth was the clerk who helped me. I wanted you to know that the service I received from Beth (and the person who took my picture) was exceptional.

They were professional, friendly and a pleasure to be served by. Who says the DMV is a nightmare?
