A light for the future
The new 125-foot-long, 13,000-lb. SPUI traffic signal was installed at the Interstate 84/Vista Avenue Interchange Tuesday night as reconstruction in Boise overnight nears completion. The expansive traffic signal will not be operational immediately though. It will take several weeks for crews to wire and test the 12-head signal.
Construction on the entire $17.8 million project is expected to be complete late this summer.
