Moscow routes added to 511 Transit System

Idaho’s new 511 Transit System now includes the transit provider, Regional Public Transportation, Inc. (RPT), which does business as Valley Transit and Moscow Valley Transit, in its online data system. RPT provides service between Lewiston and Moscow, within Moscow, and some other surrounding communities.

Users can also access RPT schedules and information on the Google Transit trip planner. This device allows travelers to view transit routes, identify bus schedule times, gather ticket prices, and plan the most efficient trip using public transportation. To access Idaho transit options online and via Google Transit visit www.google.com and type the word "transit" in the address line after the forward slash.

The addition of RPT brings the total number of Idaho transit providers using the 511 Transit system to seven. The 511 system features fixed-route services provided statewide, allowing users to easily access vital transit information.

Customers can now find up-to-date service information regarding the following RPT routes and stops:

  • Moscow West Loop
  • Moscow East Loop
  • Lewiston-Moscow Intercity
  • State 8 Route
  • Moscow Farmers Market
