Losness to attend 30th anniversary MADD national conference

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) turns 30 this year, and ITD’s Lisa Losness will be on hand to help mark the anniversary at the organization’s national conference in Washington, D.C., Sept. 23-25.

Losness recently was awarded a scholarship to attend the three-day gathering and participate in some of the 50 workshops planned and a national victim/survivor tribute. She currently works in the Highway Safety office.

The scholarship will cover all transportation and conference expenses and is made possible through a working agreement between MADD and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

MADD’s mission is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking.
