Administrative workshop needs donations

Final plans are under way for the 22nd annual Administrative Workshop to be held Oct. 13 at the Nazareth Center in Boise. The event brings administrative assistants from ITD offices throughout the state to Boise for a full day of professional development presentations and networking.

Judy Rogers and Lisa West are this year’s workshop directors.

This year’s theme adds value to ITD … administrative assistants are Intelligent, Talented, and Dedicated. The workshop agenda will be announced later.

Organizers of past events have included useful items in registration packets and secured donations for a variety of door prizes. That will not be possible this year, so the workshop planning team is asking for donations from ITD employees.

“Due to the economy, we are restricted to in-house donations only,” according to organizers. “Anything you give will be greatly appreciated. Donations can be accepted at any time. Please let us know before the October 1st deadline if you plan to donate perishable items closer to the event.”

Donations are requested by Friday, Oct. 1.
