evolution makes information access easier
The
Transporter, which has provided news about the achievements
of ITD employees for nearly a half-century continues
to evolve as technology opens new communications
options. This week, the Transporter takes another
step forward by consolidating many of the internal
and external news items in one convenient, easily
accessible place ITDs Intranet Portal.

considers funding requests today
Two transportation committees
were scheduled to present their priority requests
for funding during the Idaho Transportation Boards
monthly meeting today in Idaho Falls.

open enrollment ends next week
ITD
employees have until Friday (May 28) to complete the
open enrollment process to ensure uninterrupted health
care coverage. Individuals who have not enrolled yet
but have participated in the past will be contacted
by Human Resources and encouraged to complete the
process by next week's deadline.

expo in Caldwell focuses on safety
Law enforcement officers
and safety experts will gather for an Emergency Expo
this weekend to raise awareness about safety issues
and emergency resources. The Expo will be Saturday
and Sunday (May 22 and 23) at the Caldwell Wal-Mart,
5108 E. Cleveland Blvd.

drivers ready to hit roadeo circuit
When
the snow stops flying and ITD trucks shed their plows,
operators put their driving skills on the line in
friendly competition. They affectionately refer to
the contests as roadeos. And the best
of the best advance to national competition to test
their skills against representatives of other states.
