ITD will show proposed improvements for I-84 tomorrow at open house in Caldwell

NAMPA - The Idaho Transportation Department will host a public open house tomorrow, June 19 to update community members about proposed plans to improve Interstate 84 in Canyon County. The open house will focus on the section of Interstate 84 between Franklin Road and Centennial Way interchanges in Caldwell.

The open house will take place between 4 and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19 at the Caldwell Best Western Plus (908 Specht Avenue). Attendees will have an opportunity to review and comment on future plans for I-84 in Caldwell.

Over the next several years, ITD is investing more than $300 million into I-84 between Exits 27 and 36 in Canyon County.

The I-84 projects are expected to improve safety, mobility and economic opportunities in Idaho over the next 20 years. More information is available at itdprojects.org/84corridor.
