Broadway Bridge closes during replacement starting in January; Open House set Dec. 2
Starting in January, bridge and roadwork begins on Broadway between University Drive and Front Street. Crews will replace the Broadway Bridge over the Boise River and rebuild this section of Broadway Avenue, requiring a full closure. ITD will host a public open house Dec. 2 from 4-7 p.m. at Washington Group Plaza (720 Park Blvd.).

From the ITD Vault: 33 years ago (April 1982) Eagle Road Interchange selected
In early 1982, the Idaho Transportation Board selected the location where Eagle Road meets Interstate 84 as the site of the next interchange in the Treasure Valley The new interchange opened to traffic several years later, in 1990. Twenty-five years later, the Eagle Road interchange is the busiest interchange in all of Idaho serving 133,500 vehicles every day.

Encore (11-20-15): ITD's 511 system celebrates decade of service to travelers
Just before the first snowfall and Thanksgiving travel a decade ago, the 511 travelers service was unveiled, bringing a new level of service and trip preparation to Idaho drivers. Ten years and more than 22.5 million visits after that November day in 2005, an enhanced 511 service thrives.
