District 3
I-84 Canyon County work moving ahead; Board reviewing other potential project areas in state
The Idaho Transportation Board has approved funding to repair and add lanes on Interstate 84 between Franklin Boulevard and Karcher Road in Nampa in order to reduce congestion and improve safety in the region. In a unanimous decision, the board approved $150 million in GARVEE bonds.

Employee leaders give six-month update on 2016 Leadership Summit initiatives
Up-and-coming leaders throughout ITD are showing the results of their effort to improve ITD processes and culture. In 2016, 150 ITD employees from across the state and up and down the org chart came together to tackle specific issues facing the department and develop leadership skills during the Rapid Innovation Event.

District 5 wheel-bearing idea increases mileage, saves $44k

Mail
Change coming May 1 for mail pickup and delivery at Headquarters
ITD employees in the Headquarters Building and East Annex will see a new schedule for mail pick up and delivery times starting May 1. The new mail routes will be performed by 10-year department veteran Kathleen Hall.
