Safety signs slide swiftly
Emergencies on Idaho highways inevitably result in late-night callouts for transportation techs in operations to set up traffic control for incidents ranging from rockslides to car crashes. Often the sign stands for the warning signage is large and heavy, and often too wide for the shoulder.

Public Outreach
DMV/Highway Safety booth draws Abraham Lincoln, Wyatt Earp, and 2,500 others
More than 2,500 people including Abraham Lincoln and famous gunslingers Wyatt and Virgil Earp stopped at the DMV/Office of Highway Safety booth at the Western Idaho Fair last month to ask questions and learn about seatbelt safety. This is the 18th consecutive year the DMV has met with and educated the public at the fair in Boise.
