Dollar Sign: D4 sticker sign sells for $11,200 at public auction
The “Welcome to Idaho” sign at the Idaho/Nevada border in south-central Idaho was getting heavily stickered by visitors, so rather than simply replace it, ITD did something quite innovative and installed a new sign in that location that included a few pre-placed stickers to attract those with stickers to apply them there. But the new ideas didn’t end there.

ITD donates old vehicles to West Ada School District
On Sept. 12, ITD donated four older POE/fleet sedans to the West Ada School District shop offices in Meridian for their automotive skills class to work on and expand their repair skills.

Ingram honored at 44th Annual Northwest Geotech Workshop
More than 90 people from 10 states, including more than 25 ITD staffers, took part in the 44th Annual Northwest Geotech Workshop in McCall in early September. The very first NWGW was held in Idaho in 1975. This one was extra special for ITD's John Ingram.

Rose Road Interchange rebuild will improve I-15 safety, mobility
Anticipated future growth in the area drove the Rose Road Interchange during the design phase of the work, as a partial cloverleaf layout will be replaced a new diamond interchange design. The old Rose Road bridge is also being replaced.
