Aero and District 3 collaborate to repair popular Garden Valley airstrip
In another collaborative effort, the Division of Aeronautics teamed up with the local district -- in this case District 3 Maintenance -- to rehabilitate a local airstrip. In late April, the teamwork produced a much-improved Garden Valley backcountry airstrip.

Hunt's daughter, Mia Linh, wins ITD art contest
Mia Lihn, age 6, daughter of ITD Design/Traffic Services' Mona Hunt, won the overall award in the recent art contest aimed at providing some normalcy and levity in a time of unique challenges and overall "heaviness." The winning artwork was decided by Director Brian Ness, Human Resources Administrator Brenda Williams, and a few deciding voters, when needed.
